Fast-growing PR agency opens new office in Bath and increases its headcount following a series of new business wins since the turn of the year.
Formed in Cardiff in 2014, ClearlyPR, the PR, Content Marketing and Social Media agency, has recently moved to the Glove Factory Studios in Holt, a few miles to the south of Bath city centre.
The move is in response to a sharp rise in its existing portfolio of clients, which has prompted the need to expand its team in the area to include a new PR Account Manager and PR Account Executive. They will play a crucial role in the company’s growth plans over the next 12 months and beyond.
Paul McKenzie-Cummins, Managing Director, at ClearlyPR said – “This is an exciting time for the business. The rate of growth that we are currently seeing is stronger than at any time since the business was founded almost four years ago.
“Our clients are predominantly located in London, Oxfordshire, Bristol and Cardiff, so having a base in Bath provides us with greater connectivity along the M4 corridor and beyond.
“The addition of two new members to the team is a significant boost to the business, both in terms of the work they will do to support our existing client base and in enabling us to attract more new business over the coming months.”
Since the turn of the year ClearlyPR has won eight new clients across a number of industry sectors, including Recruitment, Financial services, Not-for-profit and Technology. These new client wins will see the company’s turnover increase ten-fold within the current financial year, with further growth anticipated for the business.
“Despite uncertainty over Brexit, and the predicted slowdown of the economy, business confidence remains high and organisations across all sectors are increasingly investing in their reputations,” said Mr MacKenzie-Cummins.
“While 2016 saw a relative slowdown and a reluctance among businesses to invest in their PR and marketing strategies, there has been a significant ramping up in activity over the last few months.
“We believe this is because there is a greater understanding of the way in which an organisation is perceived can have a direct impact on the bottom line.
“Over the next 12 months, we expect to increase our headcount further and expand our presence within Bath.”
Joining the business are Douglas Collier, PR Account Executive and Jack Buckley, PR Account Manager. Douglas Collier recently relocated to Bath having worked for a London based PR firm since graduating with a degree in Marketing from Bangor University.
Jack Buckley, who previously worked for ClearlyPR at the company’s base in Cardiff two years ago, re-joins the business in the more senior position of account manager. Both Jack and Douglas will play a key role in supporting the managing director as the company seeks to strengthen its base in the city.
