  • Do you need previous experience to apply for this role? Nope. Full training and ongoing support is provided from day one.
  • Do you need a degree to be considered for this position? Nope. Our MD doesn’t have a degree and he’s done alright!
  • Do you need to be willing to work in an office environment?  Yup. The most effective way to learn is by working closely with your team in-person. But you can work remotely twice a week!

About the role

From learning how to write press releases and speaking with journalists, to running online campaigns that influence public opinion or behaviour, this is a role that will see you work with a handful of clients and help them be seen and heard by their chosen audiences.

You will develop a range of skills, including:

  • Writing press releases and organising interviews with the media
  • Generating coverage for clients in the media, whether in the form of an interview, quote or article
  • Writing opinion pieces on behalf of clients
  • Ghost writing industry-focused articles
  • Producing case studies
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the local, regional, national and international media landscape, across print, broadcast and online
  • Understanding how to monitor and measure the success of a client’s media campaign
  • Learning how to create, develop and execute new PR ideas for campaigns

The list goes on, but essentially you will learn from some of the best people in the business and become equipped with the tools to build and grow a successful career in PR.

What you need

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Capable of working on own initiative but more importantly as part of a team
  • Resilience both in terms of having the confidence to pick up a phone and speak to journalists (they’re a friendly bunch) and dealing with criticism and rejection
  • Being an all-round good egg, embracing the spirit of support and togetherness in the team that pitches in to help each another out when needed
