Clearly partners with FilmBath
We love FilmBath and everything it stands for. It’s local, with an international outlook. Just like us. So, when the opportunity presented itself to get involved, we jumped at it. And here’s why.
Clearly moved into central Bath almost 12 months ago and since then we have established ourselves as the city’s biggest PR and Content Marketing agency. We very much see ourselves as being part of the Creative Industries – a sector which before the coronavirus pandemic contributed £111 billion to the UK economy.
But around £74 billion of this is expected to be lost due to the impact of the virus, with an estimated 400,000 people’s livelihoods at risk. That’s around 1 in 5 of all those employed within the sector.
Bath is an inspirational place to be, and it’s organisations like FilmBath who imbue it with its unique creative energy. This year’s film festival is a triumph of hope over experience. Amidst lockdown, an international pandemic, and winter closing in, the cinema at Green Park promises to be a wonderful place to be to take in all that the world of film has to offer, accompanied by (socially distanced) friends, a slice of pizza and a glass or two.
It’s also a great opportunity for the world of film to come to us in the comfort of our own homes, knowing that we’re sharing the experience with friends, neighbours and like-minded strangers. Hats off to the FilmBath team for making that happen!
Orson Welles described film as a ribbon of dreams and at this moment in time that’s all that many of us feel we have to hold on to. It’s at times like these that the arts are more important than ever. While the world as we know it shifts, the arts can comfort, entertain and help make sense of it.
We can’t think of a better way to say hello to Bath, than to support and be a small part of the festival and all it represents. We hope to see you there, to raise a box of popcorn your way and if you’d like to find out more about us, come and see us for a coffee and cake (we’re becoming rather famous for this) to share your views on film, the world and creative communications.
