From crafting brilliant social media posts, to running creative online campaigns that improve with analysis, this is a role that will see you work with a diverse and fascinating range of clients and help them be seen and heard by their chosen audiences.

You’ll develop a range of skills:

  • Crafting social media content to resonate with target audiences
  • Strategic skills, including identifying target audiences, defining objectives, competitor analysis, market skills
  • Creating social media posts and campaigns across all platforms
  • Gaining a comprehensive strategic understanding of social media landscape across all platforms
  • SEO, keyword search, analysis and online trends

The list goes on, but essentially you will learn from some of the best people in the business and become equipped with the tools to build and grow a successful career in digital PR and social media marketing.

Personal attributes:

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Capable of working on own initiative but more importantly as part of a team
  • Resilience to advise and meet clients, and in some cases handle conflict (with the support of the team!)
  • An all-round good egg, embracing the spirit of support and togetherness in the team that pitches in to help each another out when needed
  • Happy to take on and experiment with new ideas/platforms
  • Creative and analytical approach to client briefs
  • Keen interest in the news and current affairs

Skills & qualifications:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Understanding of how to create social media campaigns across major platforms, including engagement and hashtag techniques
  • Basic knowledge of SEO techniques
  • Basic knowledge of, or interest in, keyword search techniques
  • Interest in developing social media content with ideally some examples of work in this direction
  • Basic knowledge of populating web pages
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, digital analysis techniques such as Google Analytics and social media analytics

Opportunities for you:

After successful completion of a qualifying period, you can plot the path that your career takes thereafter:

  • Digital Marketing Assistant
  • Digital Marketing Executive (after 6-12 months as an Assistant)
  • Senior Digital Marketing Executive (after 12-18 months as an Executive)

The above time frames are typical of most PR agencies. However, the pace at which your career progresses with us is down to your own personal ambition.
