The number of newly certified B Corp businesses in the UK is rising at a phenomenal rate. Becoming a B Corp is no longer as newsworthy as it once was. But it is still possible to get media coverage for your announcement. Here’s how.

In 2021, Clearly PR became a certified B Corp. We were the 450-something business in the UK to be accredited, and only the second PR agency in the South West to do so. Today, there are almost 3,000 B Corps in the UK. Whilst this is great for the B Corp movement, it’s a bloody nightmare for businesses eager to tell the world their story about becoming certified.

It was hard for any business back in 2021 to get media attention as a new B Corp, it is excruciatingly more difficult to do so now. But it is possible… you just need to dig deep and develop a story around it that will pique the interest of the media you want to feature in.
