Digital Wonderlab was founded in 2009 with a simple mission: To enable organisations and society to leverage technology to create a better world.

Whether it be a consultancy assignment or app development, they believe there is a better world, with technology working for us in the way that enables simpler, more effective and healthier lives, so you’ll understand why we at Clearly PR love working with them to help them achieve their mission.

The Approach

We created original content and media coverage for Digital Wonderlab on a monthly basis, so when their Wiltshire Air Ambulance project came up, we understood the media opportunities involved.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance were looking to engage with young people, and also find new ways to fundraise. – it takes £3.75 million per year to keep the Wiltshire Air Ambulance flying and saving lives. As a contribution to their target, the Developers at OJO donated £15,000 worth of studio time to build a fun new app, Helifun, aimed at engaging children and young people and spread the Wiltshire Air Ambulance message.

The Outcome

Clearly PR got to work targeting local and charity sector press to spread the word and the story received blanket local news coverage, as well as featuring in all the major charity sector press.
